Houston weather: Oct 31 evening forecast

Well, on this Halloween, let's check back in with meteorologist John Dawson. It's an important night for really good weather, J.D. Yeah, I think we're going to be able to make it through with some pretty pleasant weather overall. The main concern, of course, was the rain possibilities, and we really have had less rain than some of the higher-end possibilities that we were looking at. So that's the good news. Whatever rain is out there now, I think we're going to be able to kind of work its way out. Our temperatures are going to be very comfortable, as a matter of fact. We'll be kind of running in the 70s here as we move through the evening. We certainly will keep some clouds around, so that'll kind of be a little spooky with the moon and everything, but an isolated shower is also something that's going to be a possibility. Also, tonight, of course, we're turning those clocks back, so let's make sure you remember if you've got any manual ones that you've got to do. Also, a great time to check those batteries and the smoke alarms and the carbon monoxide detectors and just set yourself up. Tomorrow morning, 6.35 a.m. is when that sun will start rising, and that means a new sunset as well, much earlier, about 5.34, looking at that. And I know this is a lot of information here. I'm going to put this on my Facebook page so you can kind of look this over a little bit. But, of course, we're getting shorter days as we move through. But for tomorrow, we've got that sunrise again at about 6.35. Lows this morning, very mild, about 70 degrees. A few 60s a little further inland will be milder. I think we'll be close to that again for tomorrow as far as those expected high temperatures are concerned. We'll be locked in to the mid 80s really for tomorrow and most likely again on Monday about 83. A little milder on Tuesday with the front moving in and then the big change. We got to wait. The front will be here Tuesday. That is when the rain is going to arrive. But these very pleasant days following the front will be the payoff. So let's kind of focus. I was just thinking about that. My focus is is the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. We just kind of got to get there behind this front should be some nice weather.
