We'll take a look outside right now.
We are sitting at 77 degrees at Camp Mabry.
The winds are calm.
Humidity is already high at 71%.
Dew point's at 67.
So tonight, I think we're going to see some fog development.
We had that this morning.
I think we'll see it again on Sunday morning and later tonight.
So just be planning on that,
and especially with all the festivities going on in town late tonight,
as we saw earlier in the newscast,
then fog could become an issue.
For you if you're traveling around 65 this morning, the best we could
do 78 the high 77 and 56 are your averages record low of 30.
We've had a freeze before this time of year back in 1993.
I remember that year being a very cold one and we had snow back
in that year as well. 90 degrees our record high that was set in 1997.
And this is the last time we're going to have a sunrise at 744.
Tomorrow's sunrise will be at 645 with that time change.
So set your clocks back one hour.
Can't stress that enough.
We have temperatures falling into the 60s through 3 in the morning.
As far as rain goes, there will be some clouds around the morning,
maybe some fog and drizzle.
I don't see any real measurable rain impacts
for you to start off your Sunday, but we will
have about a 10% chance of getting some mist or fog,
drizzle, and a little bit of moisture
that could be in the air tomorrow morning.
That tapers off by noon.
Visibility, not a problem right now.
We have 10-mile visibility for all of our sites,
but that will start to change overnight tonight as fog develops.
We have some mid- and high-level clouds scooting through,
but no rain showing up across central Texas,
the Hill Country, or the Austin area.
And then off to the east, some high clouds,
just about the same for everybody on the map.
There's a mix of clouds.
It does want a sprinkle or two out there a little bit tonight,
but it doesn't show much in the way of measurable rain.
I don't see any thunderstorms, anything like that.
But we will have some fog around
and we might get a stray shower out in the hill country tomorrow.
A better chance we'll see some rain maybe Monday
into Tuesday with a pretty strong cold front on the way.
As you can see here, rain totals, all of the models,
very light, if anything at all, and a couple of hundreds.
And most of that will be in the form of drizzle.
Lows tonight in the 60s out in the hill country, low 60s there.
Low to mid 60s, I-35 corridor, eastern counties about the same.
We're all on the same page.
Again, watch out for the fog.
Light winds are expected tonight, mostly cloudy and then partly sunny
and warmer will be up to 86 degrees for your Sunday afternoon.
And here we have a very warm pattern Sunday
and Monday thunderstorms Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The way it looks, a strong cold front will move through
and gusty north winds in its wake.
We also start seeing lows more typical of fall back in the 40s
and 50s for overnight lows
as we work our way into Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week.
Pretty nice period of weather coming up after Tuesday morning.
Just plan on those cooler temperatures coming up.
I'm ready for that cooler temperature.
It's time for fall already.
That's the way I feel.
No, no, this summer has been too much.
And today, again, it feels more like spring,
and that high humidity just makes you feel like...
I want to bundle up.
There you are.
I want to wear the jackets.
You know, we're close.
You're just like me.
I appreciate it, Carrie.
Thank you.
