Rashes and itches in the genital area, you probably think of trippers, chlamydia and co.
Widespread, often misrepresented, heavily tabooized.
But the longer you push it up, the worse it gets.
Rashes, burns and itching, that is of course annoying at every other body part,
but when such symptoms appear on the penis, then for many men it is of course such a small albino.
Sometimes it only occurs once and then never again.
Sometimes also regularly, maybe once or twice a year, until the end of life.
No wonder, this topic is still very shamefully burdened in all openness even today.
And many affected, many men are afraid to talk to their partner about it,
but also to talk to the medical staff, to talk to us doctors about it, to talk about the complaints.
In addition, of course, you also think to yourself
whether there might be a serious illness behind it.
You google a lot, for example, sexually transmitted diseases.
And now, hand on the heart, have you ever had a so-called STI?
Here is a list, then you see the different diseases.
Logical, at the latest with persistent complaints, you should of course always seek medical advice.
Please go to the GP or directly to the specialist, the so-called urologist or dermatologist,
who deal with sexually transmitted diseases, for example.
Now in the video I would like to go into the most common causes for a rash on the penis, for redness on the penis.
Because there is much more than just sexually transmitted diseases.
Maybe your penis is burning or it is red because of an allergy,
because of a friction or a so-called lyme sclerosis.
Also the keyword lyme sclerosis.
More on that now.
Hello, my name is Dr. Tobias Weigel.
With my YouTube channel I would like to make a contribution to clarify medically understandable and correct
about diseases, causes of these diseases and also current health issues.
And if you don't want to miss anything, feel free to subscribe to my channel now.
Even if almost no one talks about it,
many men have at least once in their life with mild redness, with pimples or similar on the penis.
Maybe you still talk to your best friend about it, but not with many more people, of course.
The video is extremely important now, and for every man, and please, ladies, watch the video too.
Widely spread, often ignored, heavily tabooed.
The causes of redness, pimples, mild pain on the penis, on the lyme,
can range from mechanical irritations to various bacteria, viruses or fungal diseases.
Yes, sexually transmitted diseases can also be a reason.
And that is of course also important for the ladies, because they get it, so to speak, too.
Reason for many affected people not to go to the doctor out of fear of stigmatization, of course.
On the one hand, this is absolutely understandable,
but unfortunately false shame is also often the reason for chronic infections
and sometimes serious consequences, including infertility.
And that's why no false shame applies.
The sooner you go to the doctor, the faster and more uncomplicated the treatment is.
And like doctors, the urologist, he looks at several, 10, 20, 30, 40 penises every day.
He knows what it looks like, that's completely normal, that's a professional treatment.
Normally, you shouldn't worry about a prejudice or anything like that by the medical professional.
It's completely normal, it's, so to speak, an everyday process.
Outbursts on the penis, symptoms and side effects.
Outbursts on the penis can have many different faces.
Often, for example, red spots or dots, blisters or blisters,
which often occur on the urethra, but also, for example, on the penis shaft.
In worse cases, even real swelling or flat skin lesions can form.
They can be very small or maybe a little bigger.
In addition, an outburst on the penis is often accompanied by other symptoms.
That means there are other problems, such as swelling, itching, a burning or painful feeling.
Also letting the water, i.e. peeing, can be quite painful.
And with certain diseases, an outburst from the urethra is also possible.
Basically, with such an outburst,
between infectious triggers such as fungi or bacteria
and non-infectious triggers such as allergies can be different.
At this point, now briefly in my own matter, the reference to my various advisors.
The advisor, for example, to build muscle and to lose weight.
And now brand new, the advisor with the best food, with the health pattern.
That helps, so to speak, to lose weight, to build muscle.
That means, what should end up in the daily shopping cart?
How do you eat healthy?
That's what it's all about in all my advisors to different diseases.
So feel free to take a look at my website.
Cause number one, fungal diseases.
Fungal diseases on the penis, especially by the yeast fungus candidate, occur relatively often.
So fungi on the penis are not uncommon.
Estimates show that about 15 to 20% of men in their lifetime have at least one of them.
The infection can basically affect any man, regardless of age or sexual activity.
Certain factors, however, can increase the risk, so-called risk factors.
And this includes a weakened immune system.
In general, this is of course a common reason, especially for fungi, also in other parts of the body.
Diabetes, also the intake of antibiotics.
Fungi are naturally present on the skin.
So we have fungi everywhere, but under certain conditions they can multiply excessively and lead to unpleasant symptoms.
The symptoms can be diverse.
Typically, a red, itchy rash occurs, which is often accompanied by small red dots or spots.
The skin can be swollen and also feel dry or rough.
A burning or painful feeling is also possible.
Sometimes it can also lead to a white, even wrinkly rash, which looks similar in extreme cases to dandruff.
In general, what to do? Then go to the doctor and he checks, so to speak, if fungi are on the penis.
The duration of such a fungal disease can vary.
Usually an untreated infection is chronic, so it can last for several weeks or even months and can deteriorate constantly.
Therefore, it is advisable that you do not treat the symptoms of a fungus disease as a bug, have shame, do not want to go to the doctor, but go for medical treatment soon.
The earlier you treat it, the fewer problems it causes, so to speak, permanently.
Cause number two, sexually transmitted infections, STI.
Another common cause for penis changes, to put it neutrally, are STIs.
And they are clearly transmitted by unprotected sexual contact with infected people.
Attention! For some years now, the annual number of STIs has increased again.
Previously recognized, they can fortunately often be treated well.
Unfortunately, many underestimate the possible long-term consequences of untreated STIs.
Long-term consequences such as infertility or chronic inflammation.
STIs that can lead to a rash on the penis are, for example, herpes genitalis, syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia.
And it may be that such a herpes is visible again once a year or every two years, because you still have the viruses in the case.
However, it is very important to note that not all STIs are made noticeable by a rash or other typical symptoms such as bleeding and pain while urinating.
Some sexually transmitted diseases can be asymptomatic and increase the risk of a chronic infection and an unintended transmission of sexual contacts.
That means you don't even notice that you're wearing it.
Maybe the partner you're having sex with gets symptoms because the immune system is weaker.
Of course, this also makes prevention particularly important.
Keyword condoms.
Regular tests, especially with alternating sexual partners, are also important to detect and treat infections early.
Cause number 3. Allergies.
Another possible cause of redness, itchiness and itchiness on the penis are contact allergies.
Contact allergies, what is meant by that, what are they?
Contact allergies occur when the body reacts superficially to certain substances with which the skin comes into direct contact.
There are different allergens that can lead to a rash on the penis that are typical.
A common allergen that can cause a rash on the penis is latex.
I'm sure everyone has heard of it before, a latex allergy.
A latex allergy occurs when the immune system reacts sensitively to latex products such as a condom or gloves or certain sexual aids containing latex.
So that's a very typical contact allergy.
The rash can then be itchiness, redness, skin itching.
Another allergen that can also lead to a rash on the penis are certain chemicals or ingredients.
Ingredients, for example, in soap, in washing products, in body care products.
The man, the affected person, often does not know that he may react to it and wonders why he always has such a slight itching penis.
These chemicals can itch the skin and cause allergic reactions.
By switching to mild, perfume-free products, for example, they can alleviate the rash and prevent a reoccurring reaction.
But of course you have to know that you have an allergy to it first.
The duration of an allergic rash on the penis can vary depending on the severity of the allergic reaction.
A one-off contact with the allergen can lead to a temporary rash that can heal itself after a short time.
This is also very typical of an allergy.
With repeated contact with an allergen, the rash can become chronic and last longer.
At the latest, you should go to your doctor and talk to him.
In the first step, you go to your GP.
Cause number four, itching and irritation.
Sometimes the cause of a rash on the penis is even more banal, even easier.
Too much itching or irritation of the sensitive skin can also be the cause.
This can be, for example, due to wearing too tight clothes, such as cycling pants, often in combination with hot weather, with sweat.
Too frequent, too rare washing can also lead to itching.
Also, of course, extreme sexual contact.
Too frequent washing can disturb the skin environment and lead to itching eczema.
An insufficient hygiene, and yes, there is also that,
too rare washing or too rare changing of underwear can lead to an accumulation of dirt, bacteria or other irritants,
which can facilitate skin irritations and rashes.
That's why you change your underpants regularly, every day.
Cause number five, scalp itching and lymph sclerosis.
More than one and a half million people in Germany suffer from the autoimmune inflammatory skin disease psoriasis on the scalp.
You've probably heard of it before, but in relation to scalp and penis?
Yes, that is possible.
Scalp generally expresses itself through reddish, scaly skin areas, which are often accompanied by strong itching.
They can occur in different places, such as the elbow, the knee, the back, but also in the intimate area.
Because mechanical itching, also intimate shaving and, if necessary, also moisture or sweating and so on,
can facilitate the formation of scalp, that's a scalp scalp.
This is often associated with a clear, high pressure of passion for those affected.
What the partner may also reassure is to know, as well as in other body parts,
if you have scalp itching here, for example, the scalp itching is not contagious even in the genital area.
Important is a careful but not exaggerated intimate hygiene.
In general, exaggerated intimate hygiene, as I mentioned before, is not good.
Please talk to your doctor, your doctor, your skin doctor, about suitable creams, suitable products,
how to treat the body parts, especially the genital area, not too aggressively.
And then there is the so-called scalp sclerosis, maybe you've heard of it before.
Scalp sclerosis is really widespread, but many people who have scalp sclerosis do not know about it for a long time.
And doctors sometimes don't make the diagnosis because they don't recognize the scalp sclerosis.
In addition, they don't talk about scalp sclerosis, and that's the main problem again, especially in the intimate area.
Keyword again shame.
The disease is less common in men than in women.
So women also have scalp sclerosis in the intimate area.
About 0.1 to 1% of men are affected.
Which complaints are then typical?
There are typical complaints, namely in the outer intimate area of scalp sclerosis.
And scalp sclerosis usually affects the foreskin or the scalp first.
The infected skin cells usually don't get so white pain.
In contrast to what I mentioned before, maybe with the allergy or with the sexually transmitted diseases.
Maybe you recognize individual white spots, and groups of white, maybe also hard skin nodes are formed.
And these skin nodes can also melt with each other, maybe they look like a scar.
Often the symptoms of a scalp sclerosis with fungus infections, I mentioned before,
with herpes, with a balanitis or with other diseases.
That's why it's important here too, go to the urologist for the suspicion.
And two things about scalp sclerosis are important.
First, the scalp sclerosis is not contagious, so unprotected sex is not a problem at all.
And second, cortisone salves help with the acute push, otherwise it is really important to cream with a fat salve every day.
This is how the visit with the urologist works.
If you have to deal with a rash on the penis, a practice for urology, the urologist is often the right place to go.
In the first step, if you go to the urologist, then you usually go to the urologist.
Skin doctors can also be useful, especially with the keyword allergy, also sexually transmitted diseases, the skin doctor often does.
Ultimately, the process differs, but hardly from any other doctor's visit.
First, the doctor, the doctor, asks you about your symptoms, i.e. the signs, the problems,
the duration of the rash, for example, to earlier treatment and to possible solutions.
This is very important.
It is important that you answer truthfully so that the doctor can give the doctor the right diagnosis.
It's no use saying, oh, my penis hurts, it's red, and then you don't dare to say anything.
In addition, of course, there is a physical examination in which the doctor assesses the rash in terms of its size, color, texture, etc.
In some cases, further tests or examinations are necessary to determine the exact cause of the rash.
For example, you put a kind of Tesafilm strip on the penis so that when there are fungi, they are then removed so that you can then examine them under the microscope, for example.
Maybe a biopsy is also done.
There are also tests for infections, tests for allergies.
So it's basically looking at what the causes could be, and I've just mentioned many important causes.
So based on the anamnesis, the physical examination, also the test results, your doctor will then make the diagnosis.
The treatment then of course includes, depending on the cause, depending on the diagnosis, for example, topical creams, salves, maybe also oral medications.
If I should go into one of these diseases again in the near future, or maybe related topics as well, then feel free to write it in the comments.
Please write whether you have had experiences with problems with the penis or with sexually transmitted diseases.
Let's see who lets their pants down here and what they say about it.
Thank you very much and stay loyal to me!
