Welcome. Today we're going to talk about one of the main reasons why we age.
It's about the acidity.
The healthy body is in an acid-base balance.
That means that the pH values, depending on the area of the body,
always remain as they should be in the long term.
The blood keeps the body in a very, very tight limit of 7.4 ± 0.05 due to its buffer systems.
And if this limit is somehow exceeded or understepped,
it is actually life-threatening for us.
The body therefore has the pH value via clever mechanisms
to keep all the other bodily fluids in a functional range.
The formation of acids in the body is completely normal.
In the cells, during the combustion of the so-called oxidation,
carbon dioxide, i.e. CO2 and water-free, is constantly released.
CO2 then becomes carbon dioxide, which is transported to the lungs and excreted there.
And through the cell metabolism, for example, uric acid is formed,
which is then excreted through the kidneys.
Of course, further acids are also brought into the body through nutrition.
Even with primarily basic nutrition,
the metabolism results in ultimately more acids than bases.
But with acid-forming foods, in addition, there is still a lot more.
And that's why a basic diet is also very useful.
The acid-base household is also set to what was normal in evolution over a very, very long period of time.
Most modern changes in diet look extremely and strongly over-acidic.
Whether it is the drastic increase in animal protein in the diet,
i.e. meat, sausage, fish, dairy products, eggs,
or the food additives, or alcohol, tobacco,
the industrial processing of foods in combination with chemicals that our body does not know,
toxins from the air, almost all allopathic drugs,
and not to forget stress.
These are all things that contribute to the body becoming more over-acidic.
And all these factors I have just listed add up to an acid formation in the body
that is many times greater than the excretion capacity that was built in by evolution.
So what happens when the acidification becomes too great?
The place where it first settles is the lymphatic fluid,
in which all substances that are distributed by the capillary system are brought closer to their destination.
From there they reach the cells.
In the same way, all waste substances are brought into it for disposal.
So it is of utmost importance for health that the lymph is liquid and as absorbable as possible.
As the pH of the lymph rises, there is a risk that it will start to shrink in the protein it contains.
As a result, it becomes thicker and, of course, more impenetrable.
To prevent a life-threatening acidification, the body uses a trick.
It binds the acids with basic minerals and then simply stores them.
And in doing so, it looks for places such as fat tissue or joints
where the health risk is as low as possible.
So our body is just brilliant, isn't it?
But over the decades, it has also had to use vital places.
If those that are not so vital are all already used,
so that the body functions are increasingly restricted.
Most diseases of civilization, such as high blood pressure, old age, diabetes, gout,
even the more severe diseases, such as autoimmune diseases and cancer,
can be explained to a large extent with this biochemical waste problem.
So what is to be done?
Concentrate on nutrient-based foods in your diet.
It's very simple.
Most of them are fruits, vegetables, salads and herbs.
Including basic minerals or giving them to the bath water
also allows the body to break down the acids and dissolve them.
But the easiest way to get rid of acids is something completely different.
It's breathing.
So exercising.
In the fresh air, no matter what the weather is like,
or at least open your window when you're training at home.
I hope you enjoyed the topic and that you have discovered something new for yourself.
I would of course be happy if you shared this video
and if you would share your experience on the topic of deacidification or overacidification in the comments below.
If you would like to see more of my videos, you can do so here.
Until next time, all I can wish you is that you are well,
that you are satisfied, that you have no stress and that you stay healthy.
Bye!
