year 突然有一天我意识到 And then one day I realized something. 一切的源头都是来自于我的压力 The source of everything comes from my pressure 每当我的工作非常忙碌 Whenever my work is very busy 自己感到压力的时候 When you feel stressed 我都会告诉自己 I will tell myself 下班了就去吃顿好吃的 Go have a delicious meal after get off work 放假了去購物獎賞自己 Go shopping to reward yourself during the holiday 就这样不知不觉 So unknowingly 我陷入了金钱的陷阱 I fell into a money trap 不断的工作赚钱 Keep working for money 不断的花钱消费 Constantly spend money 在决定辞职的那个月 The month I decided to resign 我决定开始存钱 I decided to start saving money. 不再把金钱 No more money 花在一些无长远价值的事物上 Spend it on things that have no long-term value 顺便我还把家里 By the way, I also put home 很多不用的东西全都卖了 A lot of unused things are sold 还因此回本了大概五千 It paid off about 5,000. 就这样我存下了兩万元 That's how I saved 20,000 yuan 看着这笔来之不易的存款 Looking at this hard-won deposit 我就想着 I just thought that 在香港租房子也是要钱 renting a house in HK also requires money. 去国外旅居也要钱 It costs money to live abroad 国外的租金却比香港的租金便宜很多 The rent abroad is much cheaper than the rent in HK 那我为什么不花这笔钱 Then why don't I spend the money? 去国外生活一段时间呢 What about living abroad for a while? 所以我就下定决心 So I made up my mind. 定机票、定民宿 Book a flight and a homestay 找了一个适合线上工作的国家 I found a country suitable for online jobs 开启了我的旅居生活 It started my sojourn. 现在回头看 Now look back 这个决定 This decision 應該是我人生最棒的決定之一 Probably one of the best decisions of my life 我不想要再用存款的多少 I don't want to spend any more of my savings. 去掌控我的人生 To take control of my life 也不想用金钱去绑架我的快乐 I don't want to use money to kidnap my happiness 即使一个人拥有很多财富 Even if a person has a lot of wealth 但是如果没有时间自由 But if there is no time to be free 對我來說就好像 to me it's like 就好像一隻關在鳥籠的金絲雀 Like a canary in a cage 美丽而无趣 Beautiful and boring 時間来到清迈后的第一周 The first week after arriving in Chiang Mai 一切都充满了新鲜感 Everything is full of freshness 我去逛市集 I went to the market 逛夜市 Visit the night market 去參觀清邁大學 Go visit Chiang Mai University 去体验当地的美食 To experience the local cuisine 漸漸的 gradually 该打卡的地方我都去了 I've been in all the clocks 该吃的美食也吃了 I also ate the delicious food that should be eaten 就这样来到第二周 And so it came to week two. 我开始发现这个地方变得无聊起来 I'm starting to find this place boring 每天下午出门 Go out every afternoon 外面又很晒 It's sunny outside 而且绝大部分的店铺都关着门 And most of the stores are closed. 到了晚上 At night 我又不敢一个人在外面待到太晚 I'm afraid to stay out too late alone 所以我的生活开始变得慵懒 So my life started to get lazy 我每天睡 I sleep every day. 到自然醒 Wake up naturally 然后再花好几个小时 Then spend a few more hours 在床上玩手机 in bed playing with your phone 就这样过了一个礼拜的时间 And so a week went by. 我却因此变得闷闷不乐 And I became depressed. 但是我在想 But I was thinking 这不就是我向往的生活吗 Isn't this the life I long for? 不用再被闹钟吵醒 No more waking up to an alarm clock 不用再赶着去上班 No more rushing to work 不用爭分奪秒的害怕遲到 No need to race against time and fear of being late 但就是因为这样的生活太过悠闲 But just because this life is too leisurely 我只是晃了晃神 I just wobbled 突然半个月就过去了 Suddenly half a month passed 我再次意识到 I realized again 我花了太多的时间在手机上 I spend too much time on my phone 还有在家里 And at home 我不想再一个人无聊的待在房间 I don't want to be bored in my room alone anymore 所以某天晚上 So one night 我去参加了一个英文交流会 I went to an English exchange meeting 在这里我认识了 Here I met 很多也在旅居的朋友们 Many friends who are also living abroad 他们大部分都是数字游牧 Most of them are digital nomads. 虽然我很久没有说英文 Although I haven't spoken English for a long time 有點不太會表達自己 Not very good at expressing myself 但也因此认识了几个新朋友 But I also made a few new friends because of it 还被邀请 And invited to Tango class the next day 第二天去参加探戈課 And invited to Tango class the next day 接著我又认识了 Then I met again 一個新的台湾女生朋友 I met a new Taiwanese girl friend 神奇的是 And realized that it was better than staying at home 外面的生活真的太值得我去探索 The outside life is really worth exploring 所以每天早上 So every morning I wake up 我都会立马起床工作 immediately and go to work 忙到大概四点后 Busy until after about four o'clock 我就会开启自己的娱乐时间 I will start my own entertainment time 偶尔我會去打泰拳 Sometimes I go to Muay Thai 偶尔会和朋友一起去聊天、去听歌 Sometimes go to chat with friends 偶尔会一個人出去走走 Sometimes I go out for a walk alone 我还会开始报名網上的活动 I will also start registering for the activities on 去體驗陪大象玩耍 Go experience playing with elephants 去騎單車環遊清邁 and ride a bicycle around Chiang Mai 虽然这些活动并不太有趣 But it wasn't all Chiang Mai. 在我觉得最快乐最充实的时候 When I feel happiest and most fulfilled 要离开这个充满回忆的地方 To leave this place full of memories 我又要开始一个人全新的旅途了 I'm about to start a brand new journey again 但我很慶幸在這裡 But I'm glad to be here 我学会了如何珍惜我的每一天 I learned how to value my every day 我开始不想要 I didn't want it at first 花时间在手机上 Spend time on your phone 更多的是勇敢的 More is brave 去认识新的朋友 It's more about being brave to meet new people. 去体验这个世界 To experience the world 去创造更多美好的回忆 To create more beautiful memories 我的第二趟旅程来到了马来西亚 My second trip took me to Malaysia 第一站是吉隆坡 The first stop is Kuala Lumpur 说实话 tell the truth 我已经忘记 I have forgotten 为什么要选择这个国家 I have forgotten why I chose this country 我只记得当时买完票之后很后悔 I just remember buying the tickets and regretting it. 因为很多人都说这个地方很无聊 Because a lot of people say this place is boring. 但是机票也订了 But the ticket is also booked 民宿也预约了 The homestay is also reserved. 好像沒有理由不出發了 There seems to be no reason not to leave 相比清迈 Compared to Chiang Mai 这里是一个很大的城市 This is a big city. 几乎一个月都没有搭过捷运的我 I haven't taken the MRT in almost a month 开始不习惯超过半小时的车程距离 I'm not used to driving more than half an hour away 甚至一开始我连捷运都搞不懂 At first, I didn't even understand MRT. 连续两次都下错站 Wrong stop twice in a row 但是在这个人来人往的城市 But in this city where people come and go 我卻認識了很棒很棒的新朋友 I met great new friends 一位是来自阿尔及利亚的朋友 One is a friend from Algeria 另一个是吉隆坡的本地朋友 The other is a local friend in Kuala Lumpur 在朋友的陪伴下 Accompanied by friends 我们一起去爬山 Let's go hiking together 一起去看了黑风洞 We went to see the Black Wind Cave together 一起感受了本地人的餐厅跟美食 Experience the local restaurants and delicious food 这一切让这个无聊的地方 All this makes this boring place 变得有趣起来 It gets interesting. 这让我意识到 And that made me realize. 一切的重点 The point of everything 好像从来都不是风景跟目的地 It never seems to be a landscape or a destination 而是這趟旅程在你身邊的人 It never seems to be a landscape or a destination 回忆起清迈的日子亦是如此 The same goes for remembering the days of Chiang Mai 让我想念的从来都不是那个地方 It's never that place that I miss 而是在那里我遇到的每一位朋友 But every friend I met there And those memories are what I will never forget 而那些回忆才是让我念念不忘 難以放下的 And those memories are what I will never forget 也正是因为这样 And that's why. 我好像开始变得再次害怕孤独 I seem to be starting to fear being alone again 自从结束上一次的恋情之后 Since the end of the last relationship 我以为自己已经习惯了孤单 I thought I was used to being alone 习惯了一个人的生活 Accustomed to living alone 一个人吃饭 Eating alone 运动、购物 Eating alone 去做任何我想做的事情 Do whatever I want 但同时我也知道 But I also know 自己是需要被陪伴的 But I also know that I need to be accompanied 我希望身边有人可以陪我聊天 I hope someone around me can chat with me 可以陪我看风景 You can accompany me to see the scenery. 可以和我拍照 You can take a picture with me. 一起分享美食 Share food together 但同时我也是矛盾的 But I'm also conflicted. 因為我還是很享受一個人的時光 Because I still enjoy my time alone 我也能因此更加的专注在学习 And I was able to focus more on my studies. 还有我的事业 And my career 但也是這趟旅程 But also this journey 让我学会如何接受独处 It taught me how to accept being alone. 接受分离 Accept separation 阿尔及利亚的朋友告诉我 My friends in Algeria told me 人生的旅途就是不断的遇见 The journey of life is a constant encounter 告别 Goodbye 再遇到更好的 Goodbye and meet better 其实这个道理我一直都懂 In fact, I have always understood this truth 但是只有发生在自己身上的时候 But only when it happens to
