Vysvetľuje tiež, čo brzdí mladých ľudí vstúpiť do odvetvia a prečo by štát mal prestať vytvárať prekážky tam, kde by mal naopak pomáhať.
Rozhovor sa uskutočnil 24. apríla 2026 po diskusii v Dome EÚ na tému Budúcnosť spoločnej poľnohospodárskej politiky: Svet sa mení. Európsky rozpočet sa musí prispôsobiť.
Mr. Palider, how do young farmers in Slovakia perceive the proposal?
The EU's new budget? Rather a threat or an opportunity?
It depends on the topics; certainly there will be things we'd like to discuss.
That's a fairly specific budget allocated for young farmers,
which was now clear, that is, the preceding
strategic plans for the joint co-financing sports policy.
Currently, we don't have definite respect for anyone who doesn't have anything definite.
So this is what we want to talk about.
No, and of course other topics related to Slovak agriculture, mainly.
if it is ceiling, degressivity, tied payments, ecologization
Support for what Slovakia most needs, which is production support.
Direct payments currently dominate support, and do you think they sufficiently assist young farmers?
or rather, they preserve the existing structure of large enterprises.
Their eviction is being discussed.
That would be a step towards a fairer system, in your opinion,
Or could it also have negative side effects?
Thus, Slovak agriculture is one of the least efficient.
Which rovské union?
In our organization as a whole, we do not concern ourselves with that.
how to get money from someone, or how to put someone at a disadvantage
or to favor someone else.
Let us consider that we all live in Slovakia.
We all want to eat Slovak food, and we want to
There were more of those Slovak foods.
That means, as seen by those eyes, we travel through the eyes of those,
I'll say it this way, subsidies.
And in statistics, if I may say so, Slovak agriculture
has the highest percentage representation, or share, of the strže
In fact, subsidies constitute the largest share of the EU budget for the entire year.
That means Slovak agriculture, let's not deceive ourselves,
that it is set to subsidies and somehow we,
My wanted to motivate us more as a team to focus on the product.
Definitely set those tied payments and thereby motivate those farmers.
maybe they changed their production process, set it up differently,
They also arranged some fun activities for new employees, and in the end, of course
This product has been delivered to our processing department, so it remains outside the boundary.
European Commission following the audit from October last year
Recommended the revocation of accreditation for the agricultural payment agency.
What is your reaction?
It happened again, after, I think, 5 years, and the last time was in 2021.
due to the acquisition.
It keeps happening at those time intervals, and even then
So we're talking about services, then, why are we trying to do it, when we can't even do it in Slovakia?
Let's call someone from abroad, let's call the Czechs, let's call the Austrians,
Let them help us with that; let's establish a new agency in this field.
and then, once we've learned it, we can start again and we can
You must set up the agency in such a way that it truly works for farmers
and that the agricultural pay agency will set those targets
in some way so that we farmers can plan,
We should have a continuous setup every year, as far as the playground is concerned.
agricultural subsidies, or rather, project-based supports for farmers
They need to address them and, above all, prepare for them.
That means, even now, we can see it, in the year 2026, we are still
we did not see a proper investment challenge that would support
1. A year of agriculture, which is a big problem.
Let's take a look, for example, at the neighboring country of the Czech Republic—they already have to think about it,
that some 7th round and it's year 2026, so that it doesn't happen that
that we will again be desperately borrowing money, and at year-end the government will be left dealing with it
That year, a billion-dollar loan was drawn.
What realistically threatens, in your opinion, if PPAčka loses its accreditation?
How would this specifically affect Slovak farmers?
That is the greatest problem threatening farmers.
The damning evidence threatens to expose farmers
stratified a significant part of their support.
No, and of course it's not good; that means it's the biggest problem.
Which farmer in Slovakia might face this, and I think,
that the topic is getting out of hand. That means we really shouldn't be pursuing the topic
agricultural support agency functions in Bratislava,
We already talked about it five years ago, we've been over this before.
We keep talking about it again; we really should seriously consider it.
whether it would not be better if the agency's functionality
Which is the new temporary agency that has not yet taken over from any other country,
It's a big problem for farmers in Slovakia.
still not current, but ultimately we are in a period of consolidation,
What would it mean for farmers if they lost European financial support.
We will have to be more of a company in some way again.
and will Slovak citizens contribute to that support for Slovak farmers,
They will come somehow, in one way or another.
Environmental measures are often perceived as a burden.
What would have to change for farmers to view them sooner as an opportunity,
What about a problem?
Certainly, the administrative burden.
It is precisely this that is most discussed in the European Commission's proposal on flexibility.
which the European Commission will provide to that member state.
I think there are more such words in Slovakia than I thought.
the ones you mention, more words than reality.
Because reality actually shows that ratio of exhaustion,
who work at the European Commission.
He's always almost good.
So that voyage was set up well.
Motivational speech for farmers.
The farmers therefore entered it and learned it.
Of course, there were some issues regarding awareness.
So once again, the state's left wing remained.
Ministry of Agency, due to this,
in a dangerous or hazardous manner
prepared for farmers for this new period
and prepared them for it,
How the European Commission carries out its work.
So what could possibly change?
It would change the reduction and the load reduction.
It would improve better preparedness.
but not the farmers, but the state,
ministry of the agency.
And then, of course, talk about it accordingly.
Have we improved the quality of food in any way?
How they specifically affect young farmers
Trade agreements of the European Union,
for example, potential import from smoother products
From which country is Merkosúr?
I think that current one,
It also belongs, I think they don't perceive it
in some way
consumers or farmers in Europe.
I have some information that I
I absolve you, I know that
It is planned from the regions of Merkosúr,
I will tell you, Ovetel Mesa,
Which one will Ovetel Mesa miss the most.
Vzádiska Ovetel Mesa is planned within the framework of Merkosúru
imported premium meat methods,
according to calculations by the European Commission
Will prices in Europe be lowered in any way?
But it will stop the pressure to raise prices.
That means in some way
Prime Minister of the Czech Republic with the European Union
a ten TRH, or market impact of Merkosúr
It will not be that large in the European Union.
If Merkosúr hits
in the European Union
three countries?
Merkosúr began increasing significantly
the absurdity of his Ovetel Mesa
and other commodities from Turkey
to the countries in that region.
Of course we know,
that Mercury is one of the largest
to Italy from Slovakia,
the greatest pioneer,
especially from the livestock at the stop.
Thus, we can see significant risks here,
that slow Mercury
That is an economic power.
who enters there
It will have an impact spreading across approximately 3 countries.
to the European Union.
Because when Mercury is
Legislation will be introduced in the European Union
about that, how should I adapt
Quality of the Merkosúr soil
in the European Union,
That will make it much harder.
so that they would react to it.
Last question.
What is today's greatest barrier?
to the young man,
who wants to start farming in Slovakia
to address the proposal
new common agricultural policy,
According to you?
The theme of little farmers is
the team, which the European Commission
mentions.
I must say that
despite the proposal
financial framework,
which one is outside, the European Commission
without proposal
European Ballroom
European Commission
on the theme of young farmers
minimum in Slovakia
did not exist.
That means, wouldn't the young farmers
In Slovakia,
He wouldn't have hit any competitive target
on that
agriculture
consequently
a very difficult position
Even more to start on this Slovakia.
So the greatest problem is
a young farmer in Slovakia,
Not only in Slovakia, but also in other countries
I am always
business company
So the state.
As for the challenges
or rather
financial support from the European Union
a startup that
actually, currently also
Slovakia, as the government can
ministry
Released on leave, it tries to support young people.
these money
They are all bankrupt.
It is well-structured financial support.
It is about startup projects.
and the given subject will function
5, 20, 30, 40 years
So we know
that budget, or rather, that thing
which we provide to him, we know
in an outstanding manner
Funds of the European Union
to align with
Slovakia, a state of the European Union,
because startup money, that is, us
to the young farmer in case of
100,000 euros, 75%
European Union and 20%
Slovak Republic
That farmer will be starting in 3 years
functional and for 25 years
will also repay us
on the drains, on the days, and on all the messages
before the state as a whole,
and also send the money,
Which ones were used from the European Union
to the Slovak budget.
So venture capital is always welcome,
in Slovakia
I am saying, in business
proskrede
In agriculture, it is not set
Good afternoon
We often work with experts,
that are created only as some
their artificial games and artificial conditions.
Thank you very much for the interview.
