the other day someone asked me to talk
about what fangon is well fangon is also
called fanda the world the word Fon
means the will of law or the law will G
can be translated as energy ability or
potency Etc while daa can be translated
as the Great Law in short we can say
that Fallon daa or fallong is a
spiritual practice rooted in Buddhist
tradition consisting of two main
components self-improvement through the
study of teachings and following the
principles of Tru compassion and
forbearance in one's daily life it also
includes gentle exercises and
meditation fundaa was originally taught
in China by Mr Le hungu who is also the
founder it is now practiced in over 80
countries and Mr these books have been
translated into more than 50 languages
the many teachings of fallong are
contained in the book Jun it is
available for free on ffa's official
website falundafa.org
all other materials including exercise
music video instructions Mr Lee's
lectures Etc can all be downloaded for
free fanda is Tau free of Judge and is
open to all people can either go to a
practice site near them to learn for
free or sign up on learn fall.com to
attend free online classes well all this
sounds fairly simple and St
straightforward right for me the
teachings are simple yet very profound
they offer me a new way to look at the
world a new purpose for my life and a
new way to deal with my relationships
with the world and with others there are
two most important principles in the
practice of fallong one is to get rid of
your attachments the other is to look
within
unconditionally especially when you have
a conflict with others for the exercise
part there are five sets of movements
three of them can be done in 10 minutes
the standing stance usually takes 30
minutes and the sitting meditation is
flexible you can sit it as long as you
can I usually do it for 1 hour you can
choose to complete all five sets
together or do them separately it's all
up to you well it all sounds quite easy
but sometimes it's very challenging to
adhere to the principles for example
after the persecution happened in China
if you are stopped on the street and
asked by the police if you are Fallen
practitioner if you tell the truth and
say yes you can be arrested immediately
in this instance can you still follow
truth so that's just one example
everyone faces different challenges but
if you stay committed to choose comp
passion and forbearance the rewards can
be deeply
fulfilling so how has practicing F
change me I will talk about it next time
