Assalam-o-Alaikum and welcome to Germany for student channel.
Today is the lesson number 10 of German language course B1 level.
In lesson number 10, we will discuss the topic
Nebenzette mit Obwohl.
We have covered Nebenzette mit Obwohl in lesson number 9 as well.
But today, we will look at it from a different perspective.
And we will see that if we change the positions of Nebenzartz and Hauptzartz
or if we exchange them,
So, let's start.
For this lesson, I have taken the same sentences
which we have already covered in lesson number 9.
But here, the difference will be that
you will see Nebenzartz written before
and Hauptzartz after it.
Here, I have taken two sentences.
The first sentence is
Here, Nebenzartz has come before
and Hauptzartz has come later.
Similarly, if we look at the other examples as well.
She is tired. She is reading a book.
As it is raining, we are going for a walk.
So, we have seen these three sentences in lesson number 9 as well.
But in lesson number 9, the difference was that
Hauptzartz came before and Nebenzartz came later.
Now, we have kept Nebenzartz before and Hauptzartz later.
So, let's see that in this case,
what will be the sentence structure of Nebenzartz and Hauptzartz.
In this case, we will start Nebenzartz with the obvowl.
Immediately after that, we will have the subject.
After subject, we will have the object on the third position.
Instead of object, preposition can also come.
Adjective can also come.
And on the last position of Nebenzartz,
we will have the verb.
We will conjugate this verb according to the subject of Nebenzartz.
After that, we will give a space by giving a comma and start Hauptzartz.
The start of Hauptzartz will be with the verb.
Now, the start of Hauptzartz will be with the verb.
We will use two verbs back to back.
The first verb will be the verb of Nebenzartz.
We will conjugate it according to the subject of Nebenzartz.
The second verb will be for Hauptzartz.
We will conjugate it according to the subject of Hauptzartz.
Which will come on the second position in Hauptzartz.
And on the third position of the sentence, the object will come.
Instead of object, adjective, noun, preposition can also come.
If we apply this sentence structure on the first three sentences,
then these sentences will be made.
Obwohl, das Wasser kalt ist.
Gehe ich gerne schwimmen.
Although the water is cold, I am going for swimming.
We started the sentence with Obwohl.
Das Wasser is the subject of the sentence.
After that, kalt came.
Kalt is an adjective.
And we have conjugated the sign verb.
And we have put it on the last position of Nebenzartz.
We have conjugated it according to the subject.
Das Wasser is the subject.
According to that, sign verb will be conjugated as ist.
After that, we will give a space by giving a comma.
And we will start Hauptzartz.
Hauptzartz was with us.
Ich gehe gerne schwimmen.
Here, we will put the verb on the first position.
The subject will come on the second position.
Gerne and schwimmen will come on the last position of the sentence.
Let's see the next example.
Obwohl Sie müde ist.
Although she is tired, please Sie ein Buch.
She reads a book.
Here, we had Nebenzartz.
Sie ist müde.
But when we apply the sentence structure on it with Obwohl.
Obwohl will come on the first position.
Sie is the subject of the sentence.
It will come on the second position.
Müde is an adjective.
Ist is the conjugation of the sign verb.
It is for Sie.
We will give a space by giving a comma.
And we will start Hauptzartz.
Hauptzartz will start with the verb.
Verb is lesen.
So, Sie will be least.
Sie is the subject of the sentence.
It will come on the second position of Hauptzartz.
Ein Buch is a noun or an object.
We will put it on the last position of the sentence.
In the third example, Nebenzartz was as regnet.
When we apply the sentence structure on it with Obwohl.
Obwohl will come as regnet.
Although it is raining.
We had Hauptzartz in this case.
Wir machen einen Spaziergang.
Here, because we have to use Obwohl.
And we have to put Nebenzartz on the first position.
So, the sentence structure of Hauptzartz will be like this.
We will start Hauptzartz with the verb.
We will conjugate it.
According to the subject of Hauptzartz.
The subject of Hauptzartz is Wir.
So, according to Wir, Machen is Machen.
After that, we have Einen Spaziergang.
Which is an object of sentence.
Because it is an accusative case.
Spaziergang is a masculine noun.
So, we will use indefinite article Einen.
For a masculine noun Spaziergang accusative case.
Now, we will see the sentence structure.
In this case, if we have a modal verb in Nebenzartz.
And we use Nebenzartz first.
Hauptzartz will come later.
In that case, what will be the sentence structure?
In this case, we will start the sentence with Obwohl.
After that, subject will come.
After subject, object will come.
In place of object, preposition and adjective can also come.
Then, we will use the main verb in infinitive form.
On the second last position of Nebenzartz.
And on the last position of Nebenzartz.
We will have a modal verb.
We will conjugate modal verb.
According to the subject of Nebenzartz.
After that, we will give a comma.
And after that, we will give a space.
We will start Hauptzartz.
Start of Hauptzartz will be with a verb.
We will conjugate verb.
According to the subject of Hauptzartz.
And subject will come on the second position of Hauptzartz.
After that, object will come.
In place of object, again.
Any preposition, adjective or sentence.
Any additional part can also be there.
In which, we are giving any additional information.
Let's see the examples.
Obwohl, wir Geld spagen müssen.
Machen wir Urlaub.
Although, we have to save money.
We want to take holidays.
Here, we have started the sentence with Obwohl.
After that, subject has come.
Wir Geld is an object of sentence.
Spagen verb has come.
Spagen means to save.
And we have used it in infinitive form.
And it has come on the last position of Nebenzartz.
Model verb which we have conjugated.
According to wir.
So, according to wir.
Müssen is Müssen.
After that, we have started Hauptzartz with a comma.
We have conjugated this verb.
According to the subject of Hauptzartz.
So, if we have subject wir in Hauptzartz.
Then, Machen will be Machen.
And the object has come on the last position of the sentence.
Urlaub.
After that, let's see the next example.
Obwohl, ich abnehmen will.
Although, I want to lose weight.
Kasse ich Schokolade.
I eat chocolate.
Although, I want to lose weight.
I eat chocolate.
We have started the sentence with Obwohl.
Isch is the subject of sentence.
It will come on the second position of the sentence.
After that, in this sentence, we don't have an object.
So, we will go directly on the verb.
Verb will be used in infinitive form.
Abnehmen means to lose weight.
And will is the model verb.
It is the conjugation of wollen.
According to the subject of isch.
After that, we will start Hauptzartz with a comma.
With the verb.
We have the verb Essen.
Instead of Essen, we will write Esse.
Because, isch is the subject of sentence.
And Schokolade is the object in this sentence.
Which is used on the last position of the sentence.
Next example we have.
Obwohl, er Morgen früh aufstehen muss.
Although, he has to get up early in the morning.
Trinkt er Wein.
He drinks wine.
We have started the sentence with Obwohl.
Subject is er Morgen früh aufstehen.
Aufstehen is the verb.
Which is used in infinitive form.
Where we have muss is the model verb.
It is the conjugation of müssen.
Er is the subject of sentence.
Model verb will be used on the last position of the sentence.
After that, we will start Hauptzartz with a comma.
Hauptzartz will start with the verb.
Subject is er.
Which will come on the second position of Hauptzartz.
According to er, if we conjugate Trinken.
It will become Trink.
And Wein is the object of sentence.
Now, we will see.
If we have perfect tense in Nebenzartz.
In which we use the participle swi form.
In this case, if we use Nebenzartz first.
And come after Hauptzartz.
In this case, what will be the sentence structure.
In this case also, we will start Nebenzartz with Obwohl.
Subject will come on the second position.
Object will come on the third position.
After that, we will use the participle swi form verb.
And after the participle swi form.
We will use the sein or haben verb.
In which case sein will come.
In which case haben will come.
We have studied this in detail in A1 and A2.
We have to conjugate this sein or haben.
According to the subject of Nebenzartz.
After that, we have to start Hauptzartz with a comma.
Hauptzartz will start with the verb.
We will conjugate the verb.
According to the subject of Hauptzartz.
And after that, we will use the object on the last position of the sentence.
Now, let's see some examples of this.
Obwohl sie wenig gelernt hat, hat sie die Prüfung bestanden.
Although she has studied less, she has passed the exam.
Now, we started the sentence with Obwohl.
Sie is the subject of the sentence.
Which means that girl.
wenig is the adjective which means less.
Lernen's participle swi form is gelernt.
And hat is the conjugation of haben verb.
According to the subject of Zee.
After that, we will start Hauptzartz with a comma.
In this example, we have Hauptzartz with perfect tense.
If we have Hauptzartz with perfect tense.
Then we will start Hauptzartz with sein or haben verb.
And after that, the subject of the sentence will come.
Die Prüfung is the object of the sentence.
And in this case, bestanden is the participle swi form.
Because we have the perfect tense in Hauptzartz.
So, whenever we have the perfect tense.
We will use the participle swi form in that case.
Let's see the next example.
Obwohl wir früh aufgestanden sind.
Haben wir den Zug verpasst.
Although we woke up early in the morning.
Haben wir den Zug verpasst.
We missed the train.
Now, we have started the sentence with Obwohl.
After that, we have the subject of the sentence.
Wir früh, jaldi, aufgestanden, aufstehen is the participle swi form.
Now, here we have used the sein verb.
Whenever we have the verb aufstehen.
Then we will use the sein verb.
If we want to use the perfect tense.
The conjugation of the sein verb according to wir is sein.
After that, we will start Hauptzartz with a comma.
In this example, Hauptzartz is again in the perfect tense.
So, we will start with haben or sein.
Now, the verb in Hauptzartz is verpassen.
For verpassen, we have to use the haben verb.
And we have to conjugate it according to the subject of Hauptzartz.
The subject of Hauptzartz is wir.
So, according to wir, haben will remain haben.
Den Zug is the object of the sentence.
The object of the sentence is always in the accusative case.
And because Zug is a masculine noun.
The definite article of this is den.
And the participle form of verpassen is verpassen.
Next example is
Obwohl er ihn nicht verstanden hat, hat er den Vertrag unterscheinigt.
Although he has not understood him, he has signed the contract.
What does it mean that he has not understood him?
That boy has not understood the contract.
Although he has not understood him, he has signed the contract.
So, we want to say that
We will start the sentence with Obwohl.
Er is the subject of the sentence.
It will come on the second position of the sentence.
Ein means Vertrag.
Because Vertrag is a masculine noun.
And it will be used as an object.
And because the object is in the accusative case.
For Vertrag, we will take its personal pronoun from the accusative case.
Which is ein.
The participle form of Verpassen is Verstanden.
And when we use Verpassen in the sentence.
If we want to use sein or haben.
Then we will use haben.
And we will conjugate it according to the subject of the sentence.
So, the subject is er.
So, according to it, haben will become hat.
We will start Hauptsaats by looking at the comma.
We have Hauptsaats again in the perfect tense.
So, in this case, we will start with haben or sein.
Unterseichenen, we have a verb.
Which means to sign.
So, according to it, whenever we use the Unterseichenen verb.
Then we will use the haben verb.
In the participle case.
And we will conjugate it.
According to the subject of Hauptsaats.
The subject is er.
According to er, haben will become hat.
We will put the subject on the second position.
And after that will come the object.
The object is vertrag.
Because we have a masculine noun.
So, the definite article of it.
In the accusative case.
We will take den.
So, den vertrag.
And the participle form of Unterseichenen is Unterseichenen.
We will put it on the last position of the sentence.
So, this was today's lesson.
In which we saw Nebensaars and Hauptsaars in a different way.
That if we put Nebensaars first.
Then what will be the difference on the sentence.
I hope this lesson will be clear to you.
See you in the next video with the next lesson.
Allah Hafiz.
