Is that charlatanism or seriously?
This food is one of my favorite kidney cleansers.
That's surprising, but not too much of it.
In recent years, they have been eating rather unhealthy,
maybe unconsciously taking in a lot of salt and sugar.
Keyword, highly processed foods.
Many of us do this because we honestly don't know any better.
This can lead to overweight, blood sugar fluctuations,
subsequent diseases such as diabetes, heart problems, etc.
And the whole thing can of course also be stressful.
Stressful for our body, for our organs, especially for our kidneys.
Our kidneys are our cleaning agent.
That's how I always try to describe them.
That means all the bad stuff that goes into you
goes through exactly these cleaning agents, through our kidneys.
We have two of them, right and left.
So if you want to do something good for yourself,
then you should take a closer look at this video.
Here I tell you which foods you can use to clean your kidneys
and thus prevent later kidney problems.
Although, and this is also very important for me to say,
I will also explain what I mean by cleaning.
What does cleaning mean at all?
Because we are not talking about hocus-pocus here,
but it's really about doing something good for the body.
Hello, my name is Dr. Tobias Weigel.
With my YouTube channel, I would like to make a contribution
to clarify medically understandable and correct
about diseases, causes of these diseases,
and what we can do about it ourselves.
Keyword own nutrition.
Keyword movement, sport.
And it all comes together very closely.
And if you don't want to miss anything,
then feel free to subscribe to my channel now.
Our two kidneys help our body
to absorb the good substances
and to separate the bad ones from the body.
These are filter systems, filter organs.
I call them our cleaning agents.
Our kidneys are our cleaning agents
and our urine is our waste water.
If the kidneys can no longer carry out their work properly,
this is partly associated with severe consequences for us.
There can even be a kidney failure.
That means the kidneys no longer work.
And that can ultimately lead to a kidney transplant, for example.
Because the problem with our kidneys
is that they are weak at first.
Really broken too.
Then they can't regenerate themselves as well
as other organs such as the liver.
It can regenerate relatively well.
Therefore, they lift and care for their kidneys.
Prevention instead of reaction later.
And we can't influence a lot in life.
We also have bad luck. Also genetics.
But we can influence some things.
And that definitely includes what we eat, what we drink.
That damages your kidneys.
Before I come up with seven foods
that support the function of our kidneys,
I come to the top three of the kidneys.
Let's call it Schender.
It is always important not only to accelerate
and at the same time to press the brake naturally.
So what is bad for our kidneys?
And that includes permanently too much salt,
too much phosphate, which is especially in cola,
contained in sausage.
Now you may be surprised.
Too much protein.
And at this point it is very important to say
that too much protein really means too much.
This does not mean to eat enough protein.
This, on the other hand, is absolutely to be recommended.
And also from the German Society for Nutrition
and also the specialist society of nephrologists,
i.e. the kidney specialists, this is recommended.
Too much protein means
in healthy kidneys permanently
and permanently really means months, years.
But even if you eat healthy,
of course, your blood values cannot be excellent.
That's why I come to seven foods
that are good for your kidneys.
Stay tuned until the end,
because my number seven
may surprise you.
And fitting to the topic and in its own right,
our food, our nutrition,
is not only important for our kidneys,
but for our entire body.
And it is much more complex
than that a food only has an effect on one organ.
And here in this guide,
I also go into the best foods,
which are important,
that you have a healthy diet.
Because the diet is ultimately crucial
and that's exactly what it's about
in my new guide.
So take a look at my website.
Kidney detoxification, what does that mean?
Very briefly, in advance,
if you want to learn more about the kidneys themselves,
how they are built,
find out if you already have a kidney weakness,
for example,
then you can watch these two videos of mine.
But now to the topic.
Kidney detoxification.
First, also important.
Is the term here actually correct?
We are not talking about a detox,
like a juice cure.
In fact,
detoxification of the kidneys is not about
that we really bring poisonous substances
out of the body,
but much more
that we add the right substances.
And very important,
there is not one miracle food,
but it always determines
the nutritional pattern.
But it is very important to know
that our kidneys detoxify us.
They have exactly this filter function.
But there are foods,
and I now mention seven pieces,
that our kidneys, in their work,
and that is the important thing,
support and do good to the kidneys,
which contribute to the kidneys
functioning well.
Number one, water.
Without water, a person cannot live.
And that also applies to the kidneys.
Especially for the kidneys, water is important.
But be careful, drinking too much
can also damage your kidneys.
For example, for a person
who weighs about 70 kilos and is healthy.
Recommendation for healthy people is,
and this is a good number,
30 to 40 milligrams per kilogram
body weight per day,
evenly distributed over the day.
However, if you suffer from a kidney weakness
at an older age,
this happens very often.
Then your doctor could advise you
something else.
No, not to drink more,
but the opposite, to drink less.
In this case, the water may not be completely
drained out of the body,
because your kidneys are weakened.
And then it could, for example,
collect in the legs, make oedema,
and then you need
harn-driven substances,
so-called diuretics,
which help you with the excision.
Therefore, it is important to pay attention
to how fit the kidneys are.
If you suffer from kidney stones,
then it can help you
if you drink more than usual.
The so-called kidney rinsing
can also promote health.
So that is crucial.
In the case of well-known kidney problems
or kidney diseases,
either more or less water is useful.
Therefore, there is no general answer.
And to make it even more complex,
other diseases,
especially with the heart,
affect whether you should
drink more or less
of the 30 to 40 milligrams
per kilogram body weight.
So even simple water
can be complex.
And that also shows
how complex our health is
and that there are not
simple, general answers.
Number two, buckwheat.
So, let's continue with the winner
of the studies away from water,
now to the pseudo grain buckwheat.
Buckwheat tastes like grain,
but is gluten-free,
so it's perfect for you
if you have a gluten intolerance.
Buckwheat can also be used
to prepare rice
or to bake.
There are now also other forms
of the plant,
so that you can simply
sprinkle it over your muesli
or your quark.
Being creative,
that's always very important.
But why does buckwheat
help our kidneys?
Most studies have found
that the ingredients
that cause diabetes
can help with kidney damage.
Flavonoids, that's very important.
And there are also
in other foods,
that is, the other foods
are also good for the kidneys.
At the same time, it could also
help with kidney failure
that is caused by fatty food.
And as we know,
many of us eat too much
with bad fats.
These are the so-called trans fats
I often say here again
fat is not equal to fat.
Bad for our kidneys
are saturated fatty acids
in sausage, a lot of meat,
sweets.
Important, however,
I would also like to point out
that most studies
have also been carried out on mice
and we cannot apply them
one-to-one on humans.
In general, however, buckwheat
has an antioxidant effect
and we think we can eat it.
At your next shopping
it comes in your shopping cart.
Buy buckwheat
is also a good alternation.
Here again, the nutritional pattern is crucial.
Number three, apples.
Who does not know the saying in Apple a Day
keeps the doctor away?
The daily fruit and vegetables
should of course be on our menu.
That's healthy, no one wonders anymore.
We know that.
Recommendations of the German Society for Nutrition
two fruits.
Regarding our kidneys, it has been proven
that a healthy diet with daily fruit
and vegetables can contribute
that they get rare kidney stones.
So it's not just apples,
but also berries, apricots, grapes
and so on, which can contribute
that we develop rare kidney stones.
Small kidney stones,
logically, they do not pose
any great danger.
We often don't know that we have them.
But of course they shouldn't be underestimated
and can already be a sign
that your kidneys have problems.
And over time,
these small kidney stones
get bigger and bigger,
can then, for example, cause severe pain,
which then leads to
an emergency.
Especially kidney colic,
I experience as an emergency doctor,
of course, also often.
So that's important.
You can prevent it well with daily fruit and vegetables
and also a lot of water.
But it's best to take
little sugar, little phosphate,
little sodium, i.e. salt,
because that's not good for the kidneys.
For this reason, fruit, vegetables
are ideal to eat fresh.
Optimal for them,
because they have a dried form
or show higher values as juice,
also fruit sugar,
and thus can also burden the body.
More the liver, less the kidneys.
But that's why it's important
to take note of it.
Number four is also very important
if you want to avoid kidney stones.
And that's often a common problem
that you get.
Citrus fruits.
That's why I chose oranges.
Citrus fruits also count as fruit,
but are considered to be
kidney stone killers.
They increase the citrate in the body.
Studies have shown
that an increased citrate value
in urine can reduce the risk
of kidney stones
or bladder stones.
And that also applies
to lemons and grapefruits.
So if you want to protect
your kidneys from kidney stones,
you know you have a tendency
to do so,
then it can help
to eat oranges regularly
or to take freshly squeezed citrate.
However, be careful
when buying citrate,
because a lot of sugar
is added here.
The effect on your kidneys
can be significantly reduced
if there is a lot of sugar in it.
Very important at this point,
all foods, including lemons,
oranges, because that is often
wrongly said,
are basically metabolized.
Although they are acidic,
they do not make the blood acidic.
Very important to say.
Number five is firewood.
And in addition to the fruit,
a plant also ends up in the top seven.
So the firewood,
also known as Urtica dioica,
is a plant with
antioxidant effects.
And it can not only help
our kidneys,
but also the bladder,
the liver, our brain.
This is also due to the numerous
vitamins and minerals like vitamin C,
like iron.
The firewood can not only
inhibit the formation of
inflammatory substances,
but also the kidneys.
In addition, the plant can prevent
the formation of kidney stones.
But also important here,
firewood is not a miracle cure.
Studies in rats also showed
an increased citrate value in urine,
which has a positive effect on the kidneys.
Because if the citrate in the urine is increased,
it is, so to speak, excreted.
So the firewood is a real all-rounder
for the kidneys.
The easiest way to find firewood
is in the form of tea.
The effect is probably stronger.
Important in studies,
it is often as highly concentrated
as it is not even used in practice.
Number 6, ginger.
The hype around the sharp root
does not seem to break off,
you always hear a lot.
And that's quite right,
I think.
The essential oils and spices
not only ensure that the bone tastes good.
In addition, it could provide evidence
in studies that it is helpful for our kidneys.
If diabetics are susceptible to kidney failure
and often get kidney problems
as a result of diabetes,
this food can be particularly helpful.
Because numerous tests show
a positive effect
also on the blood sugar level,
which can be responsible
for kidney failure.
Since ginger can also have a positive effect
against oxidative stress
and general kidney problems,
it is my favorite food
from the top 7.
Ginger is available in a variety of ways
and is ideal if you want to start
living healthy.
My recommendation is always to add a little ginger.
Ginger tastes both raw,
if you season Asian dishes with it,
as well as brewed as tea.
But again,
it is not a miracle cure.
There is no evidence
that if you eat a lot of ginger,
the mortality rate decreases,
the risk of kidney disease also decreases.
That does not exist.
But it is part of a healthy diet
and contributes to
doing something positive
for our kidneys.
That is the key difference.
Number 7. Natural yogurt.
My number 7 can be a little surprise
at first.
I eat this almost every day.
But wait and see what's behind it.
There are some studies
that suggest that probiotics
can support a healthy kidney.
That's a magic word.
This is especially true
in relation to a kidney weakness
that affects diabetics.
Here, a deterioration of kidney disease
could be delayed by probiotics.
And you owe that
to an inflammatory property.
If you want to take probiotics
with you,
then you can either
eat yogurt,
also kefir, fermented foods,
but also pickled vegetables,
parmesan, food supplements.
Make sure
that you don't add
too much sugar.
An increased blood sugar
can cause kidney disease,
diabetes, etc.
One food
always has different effects.
And as always,
on the one hand, it's good.
On the other hand,
it may also have negative sides.
The healthiest alternative
is natural yogurt.
There are seven delicious foods
that can help your kidneys
work healthier.
There are also examples
for other foods.
There are also alternatives.
I always tell my advisors
to name food groups.
Pay attention to what you do
in your shopping cart.
Nutrition is a very important component
for our health.
Foods can support therapy,
but should not be a substitute.
With food,
you don't cure diseases.
Thank you for watching.

for your kidneys.
Thank you and stay true to me.
