Do you also know him, your inner critic?
Welcome to this video interview today with Eva Balzer.
You can find out more about her here under the video.
She is the managing director of Diamond Management,
and you learn about Karmic Management and what it is.
You can find out in the videos we shot before.
Today it is actually about the inner critic, my goodness.
More or less, we all have one in us, or many, or intense,
and it comes up very, very often.
And that doesn't make a good feeling.
He always says, you're bad, you're guilty, you can't do anything,
you're not allowed to do anything, you're not good enough.
Of course, it is incredibly helpful to gain self-confidence.
Of course not.
That's also the reason why a lot of people have a problem with it.
And you say that in your Karmic Management teaching,
there is actually a way that you can show us
how we can silence this inner critic.
So I would be really happy if you would do that,
because I am quite happy that mine has become a little quieter.
And I want you to experience that too,
because constantly feeling exposed to inner criticism
is just terrible.
Yes.
Dear Eva, nice to have you here.
Yes, I'm happy too.
I am very happy that I can share this,
because I have always struggled a lot with my inner critic.
And we probably have to do two things.
First of all, we have to clarify what kind of guy he is and where he comes from.
He's a guy.
He's a guy to me.
He's a guy to me too.
Strange, but it could also be another institution.
Yes.
So whoever whirs around in your head and tells you that you are not good enough,
the question is, where does this voice come from?
And in Karmic Management we say, everything in your world comes from you.
Everything I experience on the outside, but also in here,
is a consequence of how I treated others before.
That is the basic premise in Karmic Management.
What goes around comes around.
Depending on how I treat people,
plant the spiritual seeds,
it comes back in the form of objects and people in my life,
but also in the form of thoughts.
And it's super exciting when you think about it,
that the voice in your head,
am I that or am I just the listener?
And I would say we are the latter.
It's not me who's speaking,
but it's a spiritual seed that comes up
from the fact that I criticized my daughter last week
that she, I don't know, left her socks in the hallway.
And then a spiritual seed comes up and says in my head,
and you should also take a look, you can't do anything either.
That means the analysis is important.
The inner critic, that's not me.
It's just a seed,
because I criticized my daughter last week,
or my partner, or whoever.
Or the employee.
Or a friend.
Or I scolded the driver in front of me.
It doesn't matter.
Mother, father, grandpa, grandma.
So it doesn't matter where.
The moment we practice criticism,
that's the point,
we can expect the critic
to talk to us in our head.
Because we sowed, because we practiced criticism.
You brought that to the point.
That's the consequence now.
That means, if I want the guy or the voice
not to moan so loudly anymore,
and he's sitting in my basement and crying,
because he has nothing more to say,
sometimes he dares to go upstairs.
But I've been in a silent retreat for four weeks now.
And nobody's there.
I can see them.
Four miles against the wind.
And I send them on the detour by the house or in the basement.
I used to have big problems.
And what I did,
is to look around me in the world
and see how cool people I have around me.
I can go around the world and say,
I'm surrounded by idiots.
And then I can criticize everything.
That leads to me being very dissatisfied with myself, by the way.
Or I can go around the world
and look for miracles and people
and how great they are.
And then I saw,
my daughter really does incredible things.
Then I say, Emma, you've done a great job.
So I praised her.
And when the socks lie down,
then I realize that they come from there,
because I probably licked my socks in the past.
I don't need to be offended.
And so I can limit the criticism
and increase praise and appreciation for other people.
Of course, only if I mean it seriously.
So no false praise.
But if you look around and turn off the antennas
and look around you,
you discover how cool the people around you are.
And when you say that,
how do you plant the seeds
that the inner voice says,
honey, you're so bad, maybe you're not.
And that's a little more fun.
We have enough other problems in life, usually.
Yes, I find that extremely exciting,
because I think it's very simplified again.
So it's actually the principle of the half-full and half-empty class.
So we see the good things around us
and we're happy to see them.
And I think if we were to do that today,
because, to be honest,
I can't just discover good things around me.
So I probably have to destroy a few seeds.
Why not?
If it's true that it all comes from me.
But if I actually get involved in the beautiful things
and I always tame the critic more and more,
then I would have won a lot.
And above all, you would have won
that you perceive yourself much more positively,
that you get a lot more trust.
Because I think the moment you get a lot more trust in other people,
then it also starts a cascade again.
So can you give us all a good example of how to do that?
Because in the end you have to devote yourself to what you do,
how it works.
Well, I think I would recommend going around the world
and just looking around what to look for,
looking for the miracles.
I can wear glasses where I can see the mistakes of others very quickly.
And I also don't say that we shouldn't see them anymore.
So if I have something, then I can take it into account.
But it's a question of what I see my focus on very consciously.
And then I can say, yes, okay, but I don't have to deal with that.
Because criticism, if I criticize the person because of the old socks,
who does it help?
Does it help that my daughter does it more?
By the way, that's an invented example.
But would that help?
No, usually it doesn't help when you say that.
Does it help me?
No, not particularly.
So I can take it into account, I can take it away and think about it.
But what's cool about her?
So especially people you find difficult, you could say,
wow, I have a bit of a problem with that person.
But now I'm thinking about what I could find good about that person.
And then I look for it and then I'm happy about it.
And maybe I'll say it too.
And there are so many great people and so many people do great things.
I can appreciate that.
And it's just about seeing.
It also has something to do with being seen.
By the way, you are also seen.
Also a side effect.
To see what others do for you.
We are often ...
What our system does is to pull us away from our self-esteem a bit.
Because normally we are very much with ourselves.
And what happens to us is always the worst.
And what is done to us for good is always somehow natural.
And then you can look around and see,
wow, this friend I have, what he does for me.
I don't see it all.
I only see it when the washing machine is not cleaned.
And that's also a question of gratitude.
To see what other people do that's cool and to appreciate that.
That not only changes your outer life, but also the voices in your head.
And that then leads to you walking through life in a completely different way.
You just have a lot more joy.
I'm just thinking about all the relationships that are so often on the test bench.
Test bench doesn't mean stone.
And I always ask myself, my goodness, when you, for example,
a partner who you have discovered and who you may have fallen in love with
and who has been so great.
And suddenly everything looks completely different.
And then I always ask myself, what is it really about?
Because suddenly we just have different glasses on.
But if we could see that again, what we saw at the beginning,
what fascinated us so much,
it would perhaps be much easier to continue to be friends with a person.
I don't care about the institution of marriage,
whether it makes sense at all or something like that.
That's not what it's about.
But I also care, when relationships break up,
I also care that you can continue to appreciate yourself.
And I think with this approach, it would all work out.
And I'm sure of that.
I have this example of relationships,
because so many relationships break up and get ugly.
But I also see relationships that break up beautifully.
And I think that's just incredible.
And I'm really happy about that.
And I think the moment we can see that,
then our own self-confidence has also grown again.
So if we can live it ourselves, how valuable is that?
So it would be good if we could look at the world a little differently,
with new glasses,
every now and then a new frame with new glasses and new glasses.
That's not bad at all.
Then we see differently and sharper again
and maybe other things that we haven't seen before.
Yes, and above all, it ultimately leads to the fact
that the voice in your head keeps it clear.
You can transform it into a supporter and not into a boycotter.
Because this inner voice boycotts everything you do.
But now you have someone on board who supports you.
And we just have to understand that.
In karmic management, it's about causalities.
Causes and effects.
If I do this, that happens.
It has a consequence.
I can get upset about something that someone else did.
But I can just let it go and see what else is doing great.
We are incredibly selective in our perception.
And when I do that, it necessarily leads to the fact
that the critic disappears in my head.
And that's crazy.
I mean, it's a crazy thesis that you have to try out, by the way.
Absolutely, yes.
As I said, I always say in all these things, you have to try it out.
But my God, what can I lose
except seeing more of what others do for me?
And I did that with my mom.
I was always very critical.
We are sometimes critical with our mothers.
And then I thought, I'll just have a look.
And then I started with it.
And then a real treasure opened up to me.
Then I saw, what an incredibly cool woman that is.
And I had a really wonderful relationship with her
until she died last year.
And I am incredibly grateful for that.
So that not only has the consequences in your head,
but it can really change your life.
That's why I would say, you can try it out.
Yes, you should definitely.
Because if you carry a supporter in your head, in your mind,
who supports you in your positive ways,
nothing better can happen to you.
And then we do it in the evening.
You mentioned that.
What else do we have to do to make it go fast?
Of course, we have to rejoice.
Of course, we have to rejoice every evening.
As I said, it sounds so profane.
When I started, I also thought,
stay away with the rejoicing.
It is really important, because the seeds really smoke this water.
So every evening ...
What do I have to lose?
Okay, I'll try.
Every evening rejoice.
Today I told my neighbor how great it is
that she fucked up the yard.
I don't know.
I just saw what other people do.
I told her.
I praised her.
I encouraged her.
I rejoice.
I dedicate these spiritual seeds
so that all people can turn their inner critics
into inner supporters.
And then a really cool shoe will come out.
I think that's great.
Me too.
I have nothing against it.
If I could calm down the rest of my critics.
There is a huge philosophy behind karmic management.
You can, you don't have to,
accept everything.
Everyone looks for what he can take for himself.
And there are a lot of these individual parts
that we have now taken out.
If we could only allow that to apply to us,
then so much would change in our own world
and thus also in the outside world.
And again we are at the point
that the world may look a whole lot nicer,
more peaceful, more joyful.
More cooperative.
My goodness.
More innovative.
Maybe even very fast,
very great things could arise
that perhaps from this climate change
that we are now in,
perhaps give a faster turnaround.
Maybe really give a turnaround.
Who knows what else is out there.
Karmic management, no problem.
I think you can do anything.
Because the world comes from me,
I am the only one who can change it.
I just have to change my attitude towards other people
and my behavior towards other people.
So I pamper myself.
I just try to be nicer, more cooperative,
because I want it to come back to me.
And because I know that I am creating a world
in which all these values are also strongly represented.
And as I said, you just have to have experienced
what a shift in perception is like
and you have a different view of the world.
I wish you all that you just experience it.
All of you who are going to try it.
And of course it is super exciting
if you also write your experiences under the video.
Of course, you would have to try it out for a while.
But maybe you have also seen the last videos
that I shot with Eva.
And you have made this experience.
Just write it down. It would be great.
Otherwise, thank you for watching today.
I am happy about the thumbs up.
Of course, as I said, all the information below
how you reach Eva is also important.
Because I can imagine that ...
Also asking questions.
Asking questions too.
But maybe you want to get to know more
and how to do it and so on.
Then I am happy if you subscribe to my channel
and if you are doing well.
And if you do a lot of good for yourself
so that you can enjoy health in body and mind.
Dear Eva, thank you for being there.
Thank you for watching.
And see you next time.
Bye.
